This Markdown cheat sheet provides a quick overview of Markdown syntax elements .Markdown is a simple way to format text that looks great on any device. It doesn’t do anything fancy like change the font size, color, or type. By dealing only deals with the essentials it makes the task of writing for the Web much easier.

Paragraphs

In HTML paragraphs must be wrapped with opening and closing paragraph tags: <p> and </p>

Markdown makes this much easier. Simply separate paragraphs with an empty line. Markdown does the rest. Here is the same text again, this time using Markdown.
